Over the course of the year, students in Perspectives in Literature and Composition will be asked to revisit four questions that are central to our inquiry.
- What were the major concerns that shaped culture, literature, and the arts during the postmodern (post-WW2) era?
- What artistic and literary techniques became mainstream over the course of the postmodern era?
- How do artists/writers/filmmakers use techniques like bricolage and remix, what possibilities do they offer, and what ethical questions do they raise?
- What considerations should creators (authors, filmmakers, artists) consider when combining modes of expression (text, images, audio, video).
