Perspectives in Literature and Composition is a year-long language arts course for juniors and seniors. The course focuses primarily on American literature, media, and culture since World War Two. This website is specifically dedicated to those sections taught by Dr. Ayers. 

Over the course of the year, topics studied in Perspectives may include: the creation of meaning in comics and film; race and gender in advertising; contemporary memoirs; postmodern views of the individual; postwar views of the world of work; generational views of society from the silent generation to millennials; copyright and ethics in the age of the remix.
