Alan Moore Interview

Once you’ve finished with the Black Freighter forum, please begin reading this Alan Moore interview with Seraphemera Books. In it, Moore details his problems with DC Comics and why he wanted nothing to do with the Watchmen film, or with any of the other products that were produced alongside and since the film. As you read, try to separate his reasons that have to do with personal things–grudges, hurt feelings, etc.–from criticisms about the work itself. Above all, try to look for clues to this question: What did Alan Moore think was important about the original graphic novel Watchmen?
